The Frightful of Old Factory Street
In the peaceful town of Ravenswood, The Frightful of Old Factory Street there stood an old, deserted factory on the edges, referred to local people as the Old Plant.
For quite a long time, it had been a position of secret and dread, with accounts of spooky spirits and shocking sounds reverberating through its rotting walls.
One blustery night, a young lady named Maya, captivated by the paranormal, chose to investigate the factory
As she ventured inside, the air became colder, and the downpour outside appeared to disappear. The factory was shockingly quiet, save for a periodic squeak of the old wooden bars. Maya's electric lamp glinted, projecting long, moving shadows on the walls.
She started to look around, taking pictures and taking note of the strange, almost oppressive atmosphere. Unexpectedly, she heard a weak murmur, similar to somebody calling out to her. She twirled around, however there was nobody there. Her breath enlivened, and she felt a chill run down her spine.
Maya kept going, determined to discover the truth. She got to the mill's heart, where the old, rusting machinery was abandoned. It was there she saw it — a figure, scarcely noticeable in the faint light, remaining by the old grindstone. It was a lady, wearing a worn out dress, her eyes empty and loaded up with distress.
As Maya got closer to the apparition, her heart raced. “Help me,” she said in a voice that sounded like it came from a different era as the ghostly figure turned to face her.
Even though she was scared, Maya asked, "Who are you? What has been going on with you?"
The apparition started to recount her story. She was Eliza, an 1800s mill worker. One turbulent evening, she had been caught in the factory during a flood. Incapable to get away, she had suffocated, her soul everlastingly bound to the spot of her passing.
Maya promised to assist, moved by Eliza's tragic story. She explored the historical backdrop of the factory and found that Eliza's body had never been recuperated. With the assistance of neighborhood specialists, they at long last found her remaining parts and gave her a legitimate entombment.
The Old Mill was no longer believed to be haunted after that day.
